Best alternative camera app for HTC One?

As you know, the 4mp "ultrapixel" makes pictures super washed out. is there a better camera app on the play store?

It's unlikely that you'll find one better than the stock camera app, but Camera FV-5 and Camera Awesome are pretty great as well.

Are you talking about taking pictures or editing them?
For the first I don't suppose you will find anything better.
For the second try Snapseed.

PS my pictures (without VSCO) are not washed out. if yours are over-exposed try putting your finger on the brightest part of the image before taking the picture. the htc will adjust and lock exposure and focus.
