Best Alternatives to Kies?

What are the best alternatives to back up your phone? I have installed and uninstalled three times. Kies is horrible. Slow glitchy. More like a first beta program. I can;t believe Samasung actually put it out there.

I ended up using airdroid on my mac.

Check out MobileGo.

I am using it and it seems to be working fine.
Pricey however @ $25 so let us know if you find something better.
