Those are actually very good!
What Camera App did you use? Or what app do you most commonly use?
Thanks! I usually use the Google Camera the majority of the time. The recent updates make it a lot more useful and I am not one to play around with the controls as much... But if I don't use GC, Manual Camera and Camera FV-5 are excellent alternatives. But for stills, I tend to stick the the Google Camera and its HDR+ mode (which is killer). New improvements to the UI flow and overall speed are enough.
For video, I actually use Cinema FV-5 (video counterpart to CFV-5) along with GC. GC has a tendancy to bounce the AF too often.. the new version is a little bit better due to faster AF, but it is checks focus a lot. Cinema FV-5 has some manual controls so I can do things like set the AF to only focus when I hit the volume down, stuff like that. We'll see how that works out.
Does the OIS work well when recording video in any app? Sample videos I've seen on YouTube have all seem to show that Nexus 6 videos are wobbly and shaky :S
Well, it works on every video recording app I have installed... near as I am aware, as its hardware OIS, that's all handled at the lower layer so the app has no choice other than to use it. As far as shaky... no idea... outside of the AF bounce, the videos are pretty stable. Things only get wobbly if I get pretty hamfisted.
Also did you apply any filters or edit these photos in any way?
None... the only extra processing would come from HDR+. I didn't run them through Snapseed or any kind of editor. The one with the lens flare was just the optics playing with the Sun, which was slightly off frame. And the top shot is normal mode, I didn't turn on blur.
