Definitely the Samsung Captivate.... or, the Galaxy S SGH i897. Truly a great phone and looks phenomenal! Despite the fact that ATT denies access to true flash, there are so many apps available to work around most of that, that it almost doesn't matter; unless you're a TRUE GEEK and like pushing the envelope all the time. Me... I can wait for the Froyo 2.2 or better update! In the meantime, my Captivate is changing my life with how easy it is to get info, perform task, handle business transactions, post specials for my business......ad infinitum.
EVO 4g Hands Down!
Recently switched from a Palm Pre and never looking back!
Love my EVO its so much faster and Android is so much better.
Only thing I miss is the cars for multitasking, that is the only thing WebOS has on Android.
I would have to say the Droid X, it is verizons best android device. Despite having a locked bootloader, the developers have done some awesome things with this device. Hats off to TBH, no pun intended.
For devices, Definitely the Galaxy S line. Best screens, processor and maker of the new Nexus phone. HTC made a lot of junk this year and Moto proved they are not out of the game and still know how to make a phone.
htc incredible , rooted droid x with custom rom puts it back in the game, samsung hasnt proved Yet how well they wil support their products their past is kinda shady thats my line up yours may vary , ha
I'd say the EVO 4G was the most influential phone of the year. Broke the 4G barrier and the 4 inch screen barrier. Even though I have a G1 (getting a G2 I need my keyboard), I think the EVO was the best phone of the year.
Even though it had its issues with the Eclair and Froyo updates, the Streak has changed my life - never loved a phone more and that big ol' screen is awesome for playing Angry Birds...
