Best Battery Life on Verizon

i am looking to get a new phone on the verizon network, but i need something that has a comparable battery to that new iphone 4s. one thing that annoyed me most about my droid incredible is the lousy battery life. i want an LTE phone, but does that mean an automatic terrible battery life?

I have a Thunderbolt with extended battery and its amazing. My friend returned his Thunderbolt since he didn't want an extended battery and got a Bionic. He said the battery is excellent considering that its a 4G phone.

I have a Droid X2 and I can get through the work day on one charge. I'm a heavy user, so, I normally plug it in around 50%, but, I'm sure I could make it through the day without doing so (shouldn't let it go below 20% anyway). That is with a stock battery.

Also, the X2 looks to be free off Amazon if you are due for an upgrade.

Additionally, both my girlfriend and I have an X2. I picked up some extra "new" batteries for dirt cheap on amazon. They were five bucks, so, I picked up four. They are clearly not new, but, I tested them and they have decent battery life. For five bucks, you can't beat it.

There are larger capacity batteries though for a little more money, but, still cheap. They are probably also "new." Hehe.

I'm getting good life out of the Droid 3. It powers through the day almost and I can make it last all day if I need to. It depends on what I'm doing on it though.
