Best battery saver app

Don't use battery savers, WiFi always on but I have most apps set to only sync or refresh at intervals above 4 hours. I get about 16 hours out of the phone with moderate use.

Juice defender turns things off that I need to be working even on the default settings but 16 hours is plenty in this day and age.

I find Juice Defender Plus can be configured to do just about anything if one takes the time to set it up properly. My last phone, would last about 7 hours before JD, after it would go from early morning to almost midnight. Dramatic difference. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...droid.juicedefender.plus&hl=en&token=oJEKFHC9

The built in stock task manager works just fine for me. Constantly killing all apps only to have to restart them will use more battery. The only problem is when I have a misbehaving app. For that use an app called Watchdog. Fortunately I got the pro version for free from Amazon. It does a good job of alerting me when an app is misbehaving and then I just manually kill that single app. I keep sync, wifi, and gps turned on all the time and they never show up as battery drainage culprits. The biggest battery users are gonna be screen on time and the radio when the signal is weak.
