Searched the forums but did not find what I was looking for so I thought it best to ask my fellow TB users.

What browser do you think is the best?
Stock Android, Firefox or Dolphin?

I have been using all three and find things that I like about each.

Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks.

Same here. I like bits about each. Shortcut sync in Firefox, good Flash support in Dolphin, and, well, I don't use the stock Android app any more, but I'm sure there's something nice about it. :)

I find myself using Dolphin almost all the time. Firefox is waaaaayyy too slow to start up for my impatient self. But it does make up for a lot of it with AdBlock...

I use Miren 90% of the time, Dolphin 10%. They're both pretty much equally as good IMO.

I like to keep it simple and use the stock browser. It's fast, works well overall and includes solid Flash Support.

One thing this thread has done is encouraged me to re-evaluate browsers again. I'm setting Firefox back as my default and we'll see how things go. :)

I've tried Dolphin, Bolt, and Firefox, but I keep coming back to the stock browser. It just works, and it's probably just me, but I swear it's faster.

I prefer Dolphin and have used it for over a year now. And with the latest update your able to make an account and sync your bookmarks so you can use them with multiple devices or an easy way to restore if your a flashoholic like myself. Another nice option is the gestures and swiping left to right to access your bookmarks which can easily organized in folders.

I have been using Dophin for almost 3 months...I like it its fast enough for me, and I like that speed dail home page..

+ for Dolphin. Have been using it ever since DINC. Don't know if stock browser has tabs (VERY nice) or multiple levels of bookmarks but the startup Dialer page I'm just getting use to.

Im dead set on using xscope...i use it in computer mode too...leave the regular browser in mobile mode...xscope rocks

Sent from my awesome Droid Charge

Thanks for all the comments. I too find myself using the stock browser most often, but both firefox and dolphin have some very nice features.

Regarding speed what are your thoughts. I know that FF takes a while to boot up but once it is up it seems almost as quick as stock. Dolphin's interface is nice but it does not seem to be as fast. Maybe I just have to use it more.

Have you seen or do you know if anyone has done any testing?

X Scope is my preferred browser. It was updated a few months ago and they changed everything. I was too lazy to learn how to use it all over again, so I ripped the apk for the old version out of one of my old Nandroid backups and installed it on my E4GT.

Opera mobile is unmatched in performance and clean ui.

Tried 'em all, over and over. Dolphin HD is the one I've finally chosen. It has a couple of things that find put it above the rest.

All you Dolphin users need to check out this thread:

Ninesky is the best browser on the Market imho.

Drunk texted from my CM7 Bolt.

Yikes! Bad Dolphin! This type of behavior is completely unacceptable!

I'm obsessed with browsers and I think I've tried every one. Aside from stock, I've decided to keep four others. When I need nothing but speed, I use Opera Mobile or Opera Mini. When I need deep and thorough browsing almost comparable to a PC, I use Skyfire. And when I need smooth and consistent video play, I use Maxthon. I don't think anyone should have just one browser on his or her phone.

+1 for Opera Mobile, in my opinion none is better... Tried all other and always end back at Opera Mobile..

Stay away from Skyfire also, all info goes through and is rendered from their server before transmitted to your device which make saving personal information as risky as it can get..

Im for Opera also. I left the stock because it didnt have multiple tabs. Opera seems pretty fast to me.
