Best Buy availability and pricing?

I am upgrading a family member through Verizon. But, some of the Thunderbolt folks have had to return their devices repeatedly because of dead pixels and/or dust under the screen. One person in particular found that Verizon would only allow 1 return, while Best Buy was allowing multiple returns until the customer was happy.

Maybe it was a one-time problem with Verizon. Just food for thought, though.

If you do want to get the phone from best buy they do price match. You could always print the phone off of verizon's website and show it to them and they will match the price. That is what I did last year when I got my Incredible. The only reason I did that was so I could use my best buy credit card and go interest free for 12 months :D

Just curious. In posts about different smart phones people have complained about dust under the screen. I always keep my phone in my pocket with a case that covers the sides and back and I have never had dust under the screen. With all the lint and stuff in a pocket you'd think there would be dust.

I presume the dust got there during manufacturing, not because the user ruined the phone. At least, that is how I understood all of the complaints.

When I get this DInc 2 for a family member, I will definitely look for dust & dead pixels.
