dual core cpu, NFC, no capacitive buttons, camera with faster shutter speed. All benefits with the Gnex that you won't get when running ICS on some other phone, like say a crappy fascinate for instance.

uhh.. these same updated google apps are on my rom.. noone is doubting it being a good phone. i said OVER HYPED. and it is ...

the google apps.. is basically google maps.. and I use latitude and maps ALOT.. and guess what? the new 'improved' version isnt any better.. actually its probably a little worse.

you people acting as if the Galaxy Nexus is going to make ICS different.. obviously dont know what a custom rom is.. thats like when the fascinate owners got froyo roms.. yelling at them telling them the OTA would be the real froyo..

Oh, I am sorry, you are aboslutly right. How wrong I have been. I mean, it does not matter that even iphone fanboys are saying this is the best thing to happen to android since it came out. It does not matter that this OS is almost universaly thought of as a major step forward. You are essentially correct.

And of course you are basing you expiriance off of a release level, 100% ready to be sold version of ICS and all the apps that go with it, right? The one that Google meant to be realeased right? I am seriously asking. I am not a developer. I dont know jack about rooting. I must assume since you know about all that stuf that you would only use a releasable product as a basis of comparison. Thank you for clearing it up for me.
