Best Buy pre-order over?

I went to order my g2 and the pre-order button is gone and has been replaced with 'coming soon'. I guess I missed my opportunity to take advantage of the pre-order since my upgrade wasn't active until today.

I'm in the same boat, my upgrade was also today and now the coming soon appeared for both models. Hopefully it won't go up in price when it releases.

I had to pre order at the store. You lose the $50 gift card. They have a deal now where they'll pay $50 for any traded in phone. Can't have cracked screen, water damage, and must turn on. I traded in a very old Palm Treo 700wx.

I used the traded in phone to purchase the gift card to hold the phone. Supposedly will get a call/email when G2 arrives on the 8th. All that should be owed is the remaining $50.

I also went into the store and placed my pre-order, so now I just gotta wait... the good thing is I'm only in line behind anyone who preordered at that store before me so I'm hoping I get one on release day.
