Best Buy

Haven't been in Best Buy in awhile , Any new deals going on ?

Stuff changes day to day.
Look on the computer.
Visit the store.
See what they have on clearance.
Some of the racks we're being stocked from everything being sold.
TV's andvcomputers we're being carried carried out the door.

no one cares that you wanted to try out the phone. It's the fact that you are complaining about having to pay to do so and saying that you not getting something for free is "bad customer service."

Took the 2XL back to Best Buy.
They said they have no problem with me trying out the phone.
The 30.00 fee for trying out the phone goes to Best Buy not Verizon.

Guess i will sit back and wait on the Pixel 3 XL.

The reason I said the 30 goes to Verizon is because I thought you were paying a restocking fee and an upgrade charge.

A couple days ago, I was complaining about going to Verizon Corporate store and they wanted 50.00 return fee to try out a Pixel 2 XL phone. Plus a 30.00 upgrade fee.
And If I got a case, it was 50.00 more.
So I went to Verizon store whee I live. They waned a 50.00 return fee. 46.00 setup fee.

Well today I took my car to get the oil changed.
Stopped by Best Buy and asked what they would charge me to try out a Pixel 2 XL phone.
They said 30.00.
I got a case, Just in case I dropped the phone. Otterbox was all they had.
And the dude said if I return it within 13 days they would take the case back.

So I got a Pixel 2 XL to try out for 13 days.

Keep my fever down till the new Pixel 3 comes out.

If you do it too often you get banned. I have no problem with what you are. doing. Just a 411. I've read others complaining about getting banned just for returning a couple of items. Many companies now ban habitual "returners". I know a woman who has never tried on clothing in a store in her life. She buys it tries it a home and returns more than half of what she buys. With clothing I think they just retag and sell it again though

I had a friend in college whose parents sent him a new wardrobe periodically. He sent back what he didn't want and the shipping was free!

Been shopping at Best Buy for many years.

Bought everything from them.
The Mgr in the stores are more than nice.
I've never had a problem with Best Buy what so ever.

I ain't worried.

Wait... Are you actually just paying a fee and they let you try the phone?

Or are you talking about buying the phone for full price, and just returning and trying to get ALL of the money back, less a restocking fee?

I paid full price, tax and all.

They will give me back my money less 30.00
They didnt have 1000.00 in cash this morning at 9:00 am when they opened.

Gave me a receipt, and stated they will mail me a check.
Should have it within 3 to 5 days.
I miss the phone.

I've never bought and returned a phone before, but if it's unlocked wouldn't it fall under Best Buy's 15 day full refund or replacement policy? I don't return many items, but I shop at Best Buy almost exclusively for my electronics......they price match and your guaranteed to get sealed new from them, which is alot more than I can say about most online sites, especially Amazon. When it comes to electronics Amazon is one of the most crooked places I've ever shopped.
Good thing they have a great return policy, because I've had to return every piece of electronics I've bought from them. Their "verified" third party back alley scammers are an embarrassing joke.
