Question for those with more experience! BF and I are hoping to take advantage of Best Buy's "$150 off when you activate an unlocked pixel 3a" deal. Problem is, I have T-Mobile, which Best Buy doesn't deal with. He has Verizon. How difficult would it be if we bought the 1st one, activated it on his line, then bought the 2nd one and did the same, then I take the first to activate on my line. I know in theory it should be very easy since they're unlocked, but it's our first time buying unlocked and first time buying from Best Buy. So I wanna be sure I'm not missing any details lol

It's unclear how this would affect your discount. I found this on the Verizon site.

Cancellation

You can cancel a line of Service within 14 days of accepting this Agreement without having to pay an early termination fee as long as you return, within the applicable return period, any equipment you purchased from us or one of our authorized retailers at a discount in connection with your acceptance of this Agreement, but you'll still have to pay for your Service through that date. If you signed up for Prepaid Service, no refunds will be granted after 14 days or if your account has been activated. See vzw.com/returnpolicy for complete details and information on returning your equipment.

Why do you think Best Buy doesn't sell phones on T-Mobile?

Does Best Buy sell T Mobile plans?

Not only does Best Buy sell phones and refill cards for prepaid plans, it also lets you sign up for a postpaid plan from the Big Four carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. You can even sign up on Best Buy's website and buy a phone to pick up in-store the same day.
