Best Case for Incredible

Folks, I definitely recommend checking out cheapdroids.com (or anywhere else that sells them) and getting the Amzer cases. For $9 (that's NINE) I have a perfectly fitting, firm but not bulky protective case for my phone. Even if it's not going to last forever, for $9 more I can get a new one and change colors if I want.

I'll keep my eye out for more exciting products, but this definitely works. In fact, I ordered the SPE skin from AC as well, and I'm returning it - the Amzer feels much more solid and doesn't feel as loose on the phone as the SPE one does.

I have the Seidio Innocase 2 and the invisibleshield for the screen and i love the combo. invisibleshild shows a lot of smudges but you cant beat the protection.

Ahhhhh....so many choices and combinations...

I have never owned a case of any sort, but since the screen shatter seems to be a significant possibility given the phone's design, I am trying to decide which one to get.

I work in hospital and have been known to drop my phone on the floor every once in a while, but I have never had any major damage to my phone (just some minor cosmetic scratches).

I am leaning toward the Innocase II w/ holster, but it just seems like a lot to spend on a case. There are so many simple cases on Amazon that range from $3 to $30.

Has anyone had any luck with these cheap (albeit somewhat disposable) cases?

I just got the Innocase II, and I'm pretty "meh" about it. It's nice and all but feels cheap. The rubberized coating is too slick IMO, would rather have it feel more like the actual backing of the phone. The added thickness isn't too bad, but the power button is a little too recessed for my liking. I'm going to send mine back. Just my $0.02.

skipping the innocase this device:
I had the verizon snap on....poor man's version of the Innocase
IS screen only 15.00
Black Silicone case 17.00
Iphone leather holster 10.00
Total: 42.00 and everything fits like a glove.

Seidio has the combo for 50.00 then you need or should get screen protection....

Got the Waterfield Ultra Suede pouch case.

Mobile Devices Suede Jacket Cases

SGP Shield for HTC Droid Incredible

Works fine for me so far. It's easy in and out of the pocket and case and gives a nice little cushion if I drop it, in the case of course... :p I've got the SGP Steinheil Crystal full body kit on the phone also. Nice thing about the Waterfield is it does great double duty as screen cleaner for the phone and when I am at my desk I just put the phone on top for a nice little cushion. I might still get the Sena Ultra Slim as well just to check it out, doesn't hurt to have an extra...

Some obligatory pics...

I really don't see this providing any impact protection if you drop the phone. And can you say "holy sticky dusty phone" batman!

I am not careless with my things but the occasional accidental drop will certainly get some help, it's a soft material and would absorb a bit of shock. If you're thinking a 10 foot drop onto concrete, well, that's another story.

A little dust doesn't bother me, it's the real world where I live, dust and all...:p

I have the Waterfield jacket too. I like it. It's snug enough that the phone doesn't slide out on its own, but still pretty easy to get the phone out.

I wonder how it will hold up though. It seems well made, but even after a couple of days it's sort of losing its shape. (My coworker who saw it today rolled his eyes and said, "That's not a case!":o) Then again for only $11 including shipping it's about what I expected.

My DI is going to be living mostly in my purse so I just need something to keep it safe from being jostled around a bit - basically I'm looking for some kind of thin pouch or sleeve. I was hoping to find something similar to the (p)leather sleeve my BB came with, which has more structure than the Waterfield jacket. But IMO everything I've seen in this category (including the Sena Ultra Slim) so far is kinda ugly and hasn't inspired me to spend $20+.

I actually got the case for the Eris from Verizon. It works ok. Had I looked longer, I would hag gone for cases designed for the iPhone 3G/3GS. If you read the dimensions for those phones and the Incredible, they are almost identical. I'll be looking for one of these better fitting cases myself.

I got a body glove and a really cheap screen protector.

I had body glove on curve and loved it..... (I like my phone a little thicker). The edges can be a bit impeded but not too bad and the optical joystick moving down isnt easy either. With that said... i still like it.

Cheap screen protector works fine. Not as smooth as more expensive one I got as a gift, but the cheaper one covered entire front and other just covered screen

Might wait a bit and ask for innocase (sp) for my anniversary
