Best Case for Incredible

Let me know if this case works for you. Even though I get an accessories discount at Verizon, their cases are way overpriced. I'm not paying ~$30 for a simple rubber case. I ordered the Bodyguardz not from this website but from the manufacturer for $25 and there's no $5.95 shipping charge like on androidcentral's store (I love this website but I also like saving money). I'd like a silicone case like the one I used on my Storm to put over the Bodyguardz when I go work out at the gym and need to take my phone out frequently.

Sorry if this has been discussed. I made sure to search but was not successful.

Anyways, does anybody use a case that they recommend? I ordered mine on Monday night (5/10) and I want a good case for it. At this point, it's to my knowledge that Otterbox has not released a case for it yet.

This one seems to strike my eye though.

Amzer High Gloss TPU Skin Case - Black For HTC, HTC DROID Incredible PB31200 - Cases - Fommy.com

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

I got that case when I bought the phone. It kinda messed up my Zagg screen protector, so I only use it if I know I'm going to be in situations where I might be more likely to drop the phone - rare.

I got a body glove from the Verizon store but it's a but bulky. Can't wait for the Seido innocase to be available for it.

I had one on my BB 9700 and it was great (although the part where the case snaps together broke from taking it off and on again).

I just have a verizon high gloss black case, and it works great. Doesnt add much to the size of the phone, but still adds a little protection.

I have this case too...at first I was concerned since my other silicon cases have sucked (BB)...but this one is perfect. It fits tight and doesn't collect lint. It will help protect your phone from a drop. I like it.

I really like my black high gloss case from VZW. Normally I don't pay for their overpriced accessories, but because my phone was backordered, they sold it to me for like 9 dollars. It fits perfectly, is very light, doesn't collect lint, and people never even realize I have a case on.

For those of you with the Verizon or the Amzer High Gloss Case, does the case cover the little gap between the screen and the plastic? I keep my phone in my pocket and that tiny gap gets a lot of lint and dust stuck in it from my pocket.

Please don't flame me....

I have never used a case on any of my phones (currently with a Storm 1, waiting for my Inc to arrive) and haven't had any issues even with multiple drops. The reason I say this is I like the way the phone feels in my hand without a case. This is the way the phone was designed to be held. I feel like adding a case just makes the phone clunky and not as sleek...

Anyway, I just thought I would throw that out there. IMHO a case is not always necessary...

Looking for high end vertical pouch.

I've used Beyza and Fortte cases for BB. I want a nice vertical pouch slip case for my Incredible. So far nobody has one, but I don't know what other HTC phones will have a similar fit. I don't think they'll have a viewing hole for the LED, but I'm up for anything classy that works. Anyone?

I picked up the Body Glove case today, and it's great. I love the fact that it actually makes the phone a bit larger, since my giant hands have trouble holding the phone and texting at the same time. I tried the Anzer Leather case, but the edges of the leather were cut in a way that the leather could easily start to peel back over time, and it just kind of felt cheap.

As I said above, I picked up the Body Glove case yesterday at the local Verizon store for $29.99 + tax. It's got a great feel to it - almost like golf gloves - and its lined on the interior with felt to avoid damaging the phone's casing. Below are some close-up photos, where you can see the texture and the beveled edges. (No shots of it on the phone, though - I'm using the phone as the camera!)

It does add some real thickness to the phone, which is especially obvious around the camera/flash vent: the back casing is about 5mm thick. That's good for me, as the Incredible by itself is just a little to small for me to hold while texting with my giant hands. It also gives it just a little bit of weight to remind you that you're actually holding a miniature computer.

The case does come with a removable belt clip, which as you can see, I have removed and replaced with the rubberized "plug" since I keep my phone in my pocket. I included a shot of the side of the case, so you can see how well the two pieces fit together when mounted on the phone.

Just ordered the Incredible yesterday at lunch. Having to wait is killing me, but now I can look for cases ahead of time. if you go to page 3 on this link, http://www.chuckscomputer.com/ftp/incrediblelaunchguide.pdf it shows all of Verizon's cases. Has anyone purchased any of these? I looked on their Online Store but have yet to see a couple of them.

Also, are there any certain screen protectors that you guys recommend?

Verizon's cases are by amzer, so you can check out their site as well.
I had the red snap on case, returned it because it was cracked.
Bought the black hard silicone/ high gloss case and love it.

My goodness, I can't believe how many case threads have been opened. All have been merged, and hopefully after searching and finding this thread, nobody will need to open another one :)

somewhere in the last few days of me trolling everything Inc. I could get my hands on I saw a case similar to the VZW/Amzer high gloss silicone case but it was black on top and red on bottom with a nice little transition in the middle.
I thought it actually was a VZW/Amzer case, but I could be wrong on that.

Now I can't find it anymore (my bookmark button doesn't work;).
Anyone know what I'm talking about and where I might find it again?

Thanks.
