Best case for Nexus 5?

I went with the ringke fusion. I really like the clear back but the case doesn't fit the phone perfectly. I just ordered a spigen neo hybrid and I also scored a great deal on the official Google case. I'm hoping either of those are better than the ringke.

LG's hardshell case is pretty straight forward. Nothing fancy, but nothing bulky. I am using it until I get my red N5 in the next week or two, then I'm back on the market for something clear, or no case at all.

Why the Google bumper case ain't no good?
Was about to buy that!

There is a vendor selling them on amazon for 15 dollars. I believe they ship from China though so it will probably take awhile to arrive.

I have the Neo Hybrid from Spigen, and while it does add some bulk, there's things about it that I have missed when attempting to switch. The biggest being how incredible the buttons are. I bought the official Google bumper case and the buttons are a complete joke with zero improvement after a month and a half of usage. I went back to the Neo Hybrid and the button feedback is by far the best i've ever had with a phone case. Again, it does add some bulk but I think it actually improves the look of an otherwise pretty basic phone design.

If anyone is contemplating the Neo Hybrid, I highly recommend it. Bulk is almost always a direct correlation to how much protection the case provides. I'll take a tiny fraction of bulk if it protects better, which ultimately is why i'm buying a case to begin with. But I also refuse to use a case that turns the thing into a brick.

I ordered the Spigen Neo Hybrid case. It should be here tomorrow. Right now I just have a plain TPU case on it.

You should say a little more... can't tell what type of special you're talking about.

Probably one of the best all-around cases that I have ever owned. Looks and feels good. I can't find anything wrong with it. Its just awesome.

Using the SUPCASE hybrid beetle case and very happy.

I think that sometimes the best case is the simple cheap TPU cases. I bought one for my Nexus 5 and it reminds me of the black TPU case I bought for my Nexus S. It was very plain but it was awesome. All the cutouts were great, the fit was snug, it looked sleek and didn't take away from the look of the device, and it lasted a long time.

Thinking of one of those Fosman ones. I really don't want a case. I'm very careful with the phone, and love the naked feel. However they're called accidents for a reason and I look at the glass going to the edge and wonder how it would hold up. Had a diztronic for my very slippery Vivid and it did the job.

Also considering one of the clear backed ones so I'm not hiding the buttons. Sigh.

Buying cases is something I believe gets easier to do with time. I went through a stretch where I was buying bulky, military grade cases because I was so afraid of damaging my precious device. Then I went in the opposite direction and decided to only use slim cases. This was due to the fact that a lot of the heavy duty cases blocked ports and such and really compromised the beauty of the device. Slim cases were my choice for a long time until I started to see little scratches and nicks where the slim case didn't protect. Now, I'm back to the TPU cases. They are slim and light, but protect all around the phone. If you find a really good one, the headphone jacks and charging port cutouts will be substantial. They are simple and elegant and a lot of them are cheap.

Would you guys recommend the Spigen Slim Armor or Neo Hybrid? & why? Trying to buy a case asap and so far these are the best ones iv seen and read on the forums.

Which one of the two would you say is best all around compared to each other?
I'v heard the Neo has better button feedback.

Which one would you prefer and why?

A simple, thin case is the best choice to me. I bought a model covering the corners and the back, where the camera protrudes. I hate super protective, bulky cases.
I also wonder why would some people put an annoying screen sticker they call protector. The only thing this does is decrease touch capability and the screen's brightness and contrast.

I have had both and the Neo Hybrid is the one I like the most. The button feedback is good but can be to good at times. They are very easy to press when you don't want to press them. I like the feel of the Neo Hybrid the beat as we'll. the Slim Armor feels more durable though. And the all black one looks really slick with the all black Nexus.

I really liked the ultra slim from Spigen but after a small drop (or maybe just taking the case off a few times) it's managed to scratch up my corners a bit, and the top and bottom got a small dent because of the drop :(

Obviously the Neo Hybrid offers better, all-round protection, but is there anything less bulky, but offers a similar amount of protection?

edit: Which would be the best out of , these TPU cases off ebay Cruzerlight Bugdroid, and this caseology one or should I just keep my Neo Hybrid?
