Best case for the HTC thunderbolt

I just picked up the incipio edge. I love it! Doesn't add bulk, has a great feel, protects the phone enough if you drop it. Also come with a screen protector. Love the size of this case

I just got in my seido active x today. I love it! Great feel, hardly any bulk, looks great. Uses my own screen protector (steinhaul). Had the otterbox first, I was not impressed and returned it. I think this is my favorite case I've ever had.

I just adopted the Shell/Holster and think it's pretty slick. My dad has had his since the TB was new and it only 'ejected' the phone once while moving furniture while wearing a winter coat.

tector on my TB and I left it on when I put my otterbox on. I have no problems having them both on there.......in fact since the top of the otterbox screen protector is open the euxtra screen protector offers protection from dust that might get under there.

Just got my Trident Kraken case, The case rocks! The holster,,,, meh.. not so much, but its slimmer than defender and fits well in pants pockets so dont plan on using the holster, so far this is the best case ive had for the TB. To be fair I have not tried the seido but its on my list to do so. Just offering my 2 cents.

Can anyone report back on how the trident kraken case has held up? I'm thinking about getting one since I'm working at a grain elevator for the next 6 months so my bolt will be subjected to lots of dust, dirt, mud, water, and probably drops. I was going to go with the otterbox defender but I don't like how the built in screen protector has gotten bad reviews and the fact that it has a hole in it. Pretty much defeats the whole purpose of being a "defender."

After looking at several cases today I decided on a Qmadix Snap-On with Holster (QM-HLHTC6400-SO) that was only $19.95 at a local Verizon shop. (various web sites I checked had it listed for $24.95 or $29.95) There are lots of pros and cons to the various cases available. Different people prefer different ones for a variety of reasons, but the Qmadix seems perfect for my needs. If you are looking for a case I suggest that you look at one before deciding.

Anyone tell me major difference between Trident Aegis / Cyclops they only give information on difference between Kraken II and Cyclops line sadly :| Obviously pictures look a bit different I just don't see the major differences. Thanks

Does anyone use a regular screen protector under the Otterbox Defender's screen protector? I have heard some people say not to because of the clearance between the phone's screen and screen protector of the Otterbox. Does anyone know? I was thinking about getting this case but I was not sure if it is safe to use a regular screen protector with it. I was also considering the Seidio Convert or Active case. Thanks everyone for your help.

I do, since it all got thrown together for me at the store where I got the phone, screen protectors, and at the last minute, the Otterbox because they gave it to me for 40 out the door and I had already applied the screen protector. Doesn't seem to bother anything and it seem I can play the only game I have...9 Innings...a bit better.

I have the Cyclops, it is about twice as fat as the Aegis. I am thinking of getting the Aegis from Amazon because I am careful with my phone and never need this much protection.

I think I would have liked the Kraken better than the Cyclops because it has less exposed silicone so even though it is fat as well it would have gone in and out of pockets much better.

Unfortunately none of these Tridents will give much dust protection compared to their cases for other phones due to the opening for the kickstand.

The Trident cases are by far the highest quality cases I have seen IMO, between them, Otterbox, and Seidio that is.
