Best Cases & Accessories for the Note 8

Get the Samsung case. Can turn into one.

Have it for the S8+ and all other cases it for it collect dust.

My favourite has been the S-View case from Samsung however I don't see this listed for note 8, just the clear view

I really like this line. I usually get it for the iPhones and got one for the Note 7. Definitely would get it again for the Note 8. Now need to look for good Bluetooth headset and a glass screen protector that sticks well on the screen lol.

I had the 2 piece Tech21 case for my N7 and liked it. I think I am going to try this one.

Same 2 piece design that was kind to screen protectors. I will also get a leather wallet style case.

I hope finding a screen protector that stays on won't be as big of a challenge for the N8 as it was for the N7.

As I've noted before I've turned to the well padded genuine leather folio/wallet cases. Pricey but they don't fall apart. I personally prefer Samsung.

One major plus is that they eliminate hard, sharp lines. And I've found that makes the phone seem smaller in your pocket even w/enormous screen real estate.

What does Samsung offer for Note8 that is genuine leather? I insist on a genuine leather folio/wallet case for all my Notes but I've never found one on Samsung's site.

My fave is my Note2 brushed leather Spigen case but Spigen no longer offers them. Had to order my NOTE4 case from Noreve in France but it's bulky. Have been planning to order the Strada from OtterBox but no one there seems to know whether or not it wll be available for Note8

I ordered the Caseology Legion case. I have one for my S8 Plus and it's a nice case but I never use it because I have the Defender now. It is supposed to be here tomorrow.

For the price they're a great backup case and offer decent protection.

I will probably get the Defender when Best Buy has it in stock at the store which will probably be later this week. I picked up my S8 one over two weeks before release. They had them in the back. I might just wait though until Sams has them since Sams has great prices on Otterbox cases or I will wait until Amazon lowers it and then price match it at Best Buy. I don't feel like spending $60 on a case again. I might order a Supcase or the I-Blason Armorbox too.

What I don't like about Tech 21 is that they don't offer a ton of lip on their cases to protect the screen and they're pretty thin and too slick.

The one case I did love was the Evo Tactical XT for the Note 7. It is their Defender style case and was a great case, the only one I'd consider buying again from them but they discontinued the XT line. Overpriced for what you pay.

I got a Spigen Tough Armor, It has a kickstand and I got it for $16.99 on Amazon (it arrived yesterday) it's close enough in size to my S8+ that it fits in the belt clip for the Seideo Surface case I have on my S8+ (not a perfect fit but workable). In the long run I may get another Surface case because I think they have a better kickstand (they are just not available yet).
Something else to consider, Spigen makes a stick on kickstand you can add to most cases that have enough flat space on the back to mount it on.

Depending on how these feel I may end up ordering a Supcase unicorn beetle again. Those have done well for my N4, N7, and now s8+.

Just got my Caseology Legion series from Amazon today. Very similar to the s8 Plus one I got. For $14 it is pretty good quality too and seems it will provide decent protection.

I still plan on getting the Otterbox Defender but might wait until it goes down in price and I might buy a Supcase and an Armorbox instead this time and not waste money on Otterbox.

If Sams gets the Note 8 defenders in early again I might buy it though since their prices on cases are a lot lower than everyone else and sometimes they have Amazon beat.

Oh and this case is slightly taller than the one for my S8 Plus. I don't know if the overall phone will be a lot taller or if it's the design of the case since the screen is only 6.3inch compared to 6.2 with the s8 Plus.
