Best cases for Samsung Galaxy S10

Pelican Shield "The Tank" is actually a very nice quality case. Super sturdy, very well build and IMO better than the Otterbox Defender. What I like about this case is that there is soft rubber lining along all of the parts the phone actually touches including the front frame piece. The one thing I never liked about the Defender is that your phone rides raw dog against the hard plastic interior shell. This case will make your phone HUGE but that is the price you pay for the protection it provides. Last picture is the Shield next to the Otterbox Symmetry for size comparison.

With the Pelican Shield, you also buy more peace of mind. I found it to be more slender and less bulky than the Defender. The rails along the sides help mitigate accidental presses.

My Dad picked up the Incipio Elan for me today because the edge is my favorite color. Also, he's the best, because this case is "the one." I might have to go grab a spare.

Picked up the black version of this yesterday after seeing this post. Seriously, of all the cases I have looked at and even ordered (Spigen, Caseology, Supcase, Ringke, etc.) this is the best I've found. It's a perfect balance between thin and protective.

I usually use the Rugged Armor, but the S10 version of it didn't grip the sides of the phone as tight as past versions. This made it feel like it was going to slip out of your hand. This case is snug all the way around the phone but still lets you use the screen's curved edges. Plus, the frosted back just looks awesome.

Thanks for the heads up!

Tech 21 in Neon Yellow on the black ceramic S10 plus. Sorry, just had to get this case even though I'll never used it. :p

Who wore it better the S10 Plus or iPhone XS Max?

that case is so sick...sadly its kinda hard to get those here in Indonesia...and i just ordered a Spigen Rugged Armor and Supcase UB Pro...so until next week to my next case purchase...

One con to the Pelican Shield is that the sides are pretty slick and slippery. They have nice grippy rubber along the back edge but the actual sides are just hard plastic and very slippery.

I also don't think it will take much to scratch up that fake carbon fiber sticker on the back.

Less than 24 hours and I'm back in the Monarch case.

So my Swappa S10+ will be here on Friday or Saturday and I'm not prepared with a case for it.

Since it's Wednesday, I need to order a case or two today with Amazon Prime to make sure I have at least one when the phone arrives. I usually like to have a clear case and a non-clear case to start off.

Any suggestions for each one that won't break the bank? I don't like bulky cases, so I'm not looking for Otterbox or anything super bulky.

Thank you!

Go to WalMart and get that Incipio Elan. Best case for $15.00 bar none.

Funny you say that. I just picked up that case for my S10 last week. Now that I'm moving to the S10+, I'm gonna return it. Maybe I'll get the S10+ version while I'm there. I do really like the case.

Pitaka & Urban Armor Gear

My preferred case is the minimalist Pitaka MagCase paired with a Whitestone Dome. Since the Whitestone is not working well for me, I've found the UAG Pathfinder SE does the job in lieu of. I like that the UAG case has a decent lip that helps protect the screen. I currently have a ArmorSuit protector installed for additional protection.

Some isn’t working as in?

I'm disappointed that Maxboost isn't making an mSnap case for the S10 lineup. I've had one for my S8+ for the last 2 years and it's been great.

I ordered a Torras Slim Fit and it was loose/warped.

The Spigen Thin Fit is actually quite good. I've had this case for several phones and I got it before the S10 was even released. When I received the case, i thought they had skimped on the materials, but I think they actually tried to make a really slim case. It's actually pretty fantastic.

Ringke or ESR make nice clear cases.
The Ringke is hard plastic back....the ESR IS Tempered Glass.

Simply Carbon Fiber in red. Beautiful Case, great grip on the sides, little to no drop protection and the buttons are pretty much flush to the sides.
