What is the best custom rom for rooted xt926? Which features do NOT work on this rom?

Thanks!

hmmm I bet somebody is interested in this?

I'm interested, I just haven't tried anything yet. I was just going to wait until they made cm10 for the RAZR HD, which someone is currently working on.

I'll probably do the same. I just miss all the great tbolt rams. I'm frustrated nobody has done the same for our phone.

I've been waiting for one as well and am frustrated that there really don't seem to be many. There were a ton of choices with my Nexus. I haven't even rooted this phone because there doesn't seem to be much of a reason to.

The trouble is it has been announced that the final exploit for root is out now and when the next update comes from vzw we will no longer have the choice. I'm hoping we get an official cm10 before that happens.

I've been running skrilax's cm 10.1 build for a few weeks now. It's working remarkably well. The camcorder doesn't work and there may be a few other issues but overall I've been using it as a daily driver and loving it. Hashcode is working on creating a native kernel that will support all the 4.2.2 features but it's a very slow and painful process. I've been using bytecode's custom kernel which is awesomely fast with decent battery life.

Nothing but gratitude here for the tiny motorola development community who work so hard to produce a better experience for moto users.

Is it just the stock camera camcorder app that doesn't work? Could you get a 3rd party camera app and would it work? I do occasionally use mine so I'd want it to work.

Good question. I haven't tried any others. I honestly use my gopro for video.

Sure I understand. I don't know the answer though. You can always try it. :)

Well, that's one option. :-) Although perhaps a bit more effort than I'm up for (rooting, flashing, reinstalling apps, etc) just to see if it works. Guess I'll just stay stock for now.

Just for you I installed Camera Zoom FX and tried it. Seems to have locked up. Guessing that's not a good sign. :)

Bummer. Thanks for giving it a try though! You saved me 12h of work. Hopefully they'll get one working at some point.

I'll keep an eye on it. If things change I'll let you know. I'll try with the CM10.1 kernel and see if it matters.

I'm sure if there were a user accessible cure to this bug the word would be out. It all depends on the kernel. If a good copy of the kernel comes out before VZW locks down the exploits word will travel fast.

They won't be locking down mine ever. :) I'm unlocked and rocking a custom build with no intention of touching stock again.

Running RageHD, pretty happy with it. Basically stock without all the VZW bloat, but added battery tweaks etc.

I've also been running Rage HD for the last week. It has been great. Music doesn't skip anymore and I've had no lag to speak of.
