Best Free Bat Saver and Organizing Apps?

Purchased two Samsung Epics and a NS4G for the family

So many apps, so much uncertainty.
Which is best FREE product out there?.. to save on battery and to keep phone organized

Juice Defender, Advance Task Killer, Battery Guard, Green Power

You really don't need a Task Killer installed on the phone. It will create more problems and is not necessary considering Android has a great built in task killer to kill processes when not in use.

The best thing is to watch how many widgets are installed and background data sync times. For example, if you have a weather widget on the home screen don't set its frequency to update every 5-minutes. Same goes for other apps such as Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, etc.
