Best Galaxy S6 Edge Case Thread

I just checked Amazon.com for Spigen cases and they have some solid designs that incorporate protection while still offering grip for the "slippery" 6 Edge (as commented by Android Central reviewer) so that would be my route. I would also like to get a nice leather case but may not bother.

Cased !

I'm trying to deceide if I'm gonna get the phone. And if I do, am I going with the regular S6 or the S6 Edge.
What is the edge gonna do that the S6 won't do.
This thing needs to be polled.

I'm really just thinking some plain/clear or maybe carbon fiber or rubberized skin for added grip.

Has anyone heard anything about Otterbox cases for the Edge? I like the ones for GS6.

Or Lifeproof? Again, I heard about the Frè for the GS6.

I am a klutz when it comes to phones. Rugged cases are the maximum bulk when putting the phone in your pocket.

I think the blue on the sapphire black looks great to bring out the blue in the phone, but the gold case on the green phone would really stand out.

Putting a case on an S6 would be like having your hot wife or girlfriend wear a headscarf all day long.

This cracks me up. Everyone wanted Samsung to ditch the plastic and use premium materials, but what does it matter if you're just going to slap an ugly case on it?

Hahaha so true
i feel the same lol

I checked their site when I read they were going to offer cases in time for the launch (partnering with Samsung) and yet no Edge cases and it makes me think there won't be. The whole purpose of OtterBox is their indestructible nature and I think the exposed edges would well expose them too much for their comfort.

I don't care about the screen, I never cover it. I don't really care about the back but if it needs to be covered to make it work, so be it. I just want some bumper cover on the corners when I am in the rough and tumble world. After I calm down its all naked or in a arm band to run with. The case needs to be on and off several times a day.

I will put one of the clear skins on the back to protect the glass, yeah its GG4 but nothings perfect. Maybe then get a clear case to show off the green (if its available).

I agree with spridell, the official clear case looks like the best compromise to show off the phone and the edge while at least giving some protection.

I'll likely get a case, mostly because of the camera lens and concern i would crack it...and its most likely a clear case to show off the detail of the phone.

Camera lens bulge is always a concern, I want some protection and why not keep it looking nice for months rather than a few days in caseless form.

Looks interesting, but any case that big better have a battery charger in it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what mophie can do for the Edge.
