Best Galaxy S6 Edge Case Thread

I see no reason why the cases should impact wireless charging other than maybe a metal backed case. Since My S6 Edge is arriving on Tuesday (AT&T shipped early) I plan to order a wireless charger for my nightstand and I will let you know since I have Spigen cases.

Man because I was the 1st person that signed up at Best Buy I was lucky enough to be one of the 1st 75,000 at Best Buy who will get a Wireless charger for placing a preorder.

Nice, wish I could have gone to BB, but no 128GB to pre-order. But I am getting mine on 4-7 since AT&T shipped early today. Buh Yah.

This! I like the Spigen. Just looking at this one the Neo Hybrid from Spigen

Got the spigen hybrid crystal case for buck. Very lightweight and should show off the phone well. Can't complain considering the price I paid

I've been case shopping for a day now but according to this chic we don't even need a case.
In fact, if it's as indestructible as Ms. NiceNails here making it out to be, this phone can double as a storm shelter.

I still feel that is could scratch. I doubt they will have a phone anytime soon that is totally indestructible.

I have the spigen case listed by the OP and its pretty good. I'm unhappy with the coverage though. I may go for a slightly more beefy one soon.

deadp1xel: I'm trying to decide between the TPU case like the one you've shown and the Neo Hybrid shown above by iuserman. I really can't decide. I have a very basic TPU case on my Moto X 2013 and I enjoy the soft feel of it, but I do sometimes wish it had a better grip. Mostly, I'm concerned about which case is most comfortable to hold and helps to round out or soften up the pointy sides of the s6 edge. I've heard that the sharp edge allows for better grip, but I just find it uncomfortable, and I'm hoping that one of these cases would make the edge as comfortable to hold as the regular s6. Can you post a few more pictures and some thoughts on the sides of the case? It looks like the TPU case rounds out the sides a bit - can't quite tell on the Neo Hybrid - and I'm really struggling to make a decision.

Sure I can take more pictures tomorrow. As far as the edge being sharp I don't know where that came from, mine is fine without the case. I mostly have the case on because I think it looks neat. It does make the phone easier to hold.

I got that case as well, but am sending it back. I didn't know it was a TPU case, I decided to get the NeoHybrid for now, and may likely get a Mophie case at some point for extended days.

Ya I'm thinking of preordering the Mophie too.

This cracks me up. Everyone wanted Samsung to ditch the plastic and use premium materials, but what does it matter if you're just going to slap an ugly case on it?

HAHAHA.....I said the same thing.....after I ordered my plastic case.......

Actually I could never understand the need to go to higher quality materials when we spend so much getting the perfect case, that has all the edges covered, a lip to keep the glass from touching and wrap the whole thing in bubble wrap and a screen protector.

Same thing when picking a color when the case covers 95% of it in a different color. (my new case is clear with an accent bezel - Spigen hybrid cc) I had a clear case long long time ago with the droid and droid 2 but those would always get scratched and eventually break for not reason or slightly discolor.

When I was talking to the Samsung dude at Best Buy. I asked why they left the waterproof.
He replied the plastic back was easy to make the phone waterproof.
But with a Glass front and Glass Back on the phone like everybody wanted. Its hard to seal 2 pieces of glass.
Samsung went with what the people wanted so they lost the water resistance on the phone.
And lost the cover on the bottom too.
And with the new hardware. they lost the SD card.
And with the new style battery that is better, along with the glass back. it made it impossible to have a removable battery.

Have they ever heard of caulk.......I guess they don't have windows in their homes.....hahaha

Anybody else with real life pictures of their phones in cases? I can post 3 or 4 on Friday when my phone comes but would like to see what the rest of you have.

How does the wallet style case attach to the phone? I'm not seeing any inner plastic case holding it. It's a shame to cover up the edge and I'd like to find a case that protects while leaving the edge's edge design visible. Can you share the brand please?

A couple pages back in the thread, Raptor007 posted a photo of a Spigen case that only runs for $12 on Amazon. I have this case and it actually adds to the look of the phone, at least to me it does. The edges are still exposed and it makes the phone much easier to hold.
