Today (11/18) I got the Note 9 from Best Buy for $300 off ($699). No additional line, no trade-in required. I paid the tax on the phone up front and my monthly bill will increase by $29.12 for the next 24 months. After 3 months of payments, I can pay the phone off with no pre-pay penalties. BB had four colors: black, silver, ocean blue and lavender. They didn't charge an activation fee, either. You might want to check the fine print. I was looking at that yesterday as well and while it was no charge out the door, it did mention taxes and a $30 activation fee would be billed to my Verizon account.

You might want to check the fine print. I was looking at that yesterday as well and while it was no charge out the door, it did mention taxes and a $30 activation fee would be billed to my Verizon account.

VZW always charges $30 for upgrading phones. That's why I bought from Costco, you can get a Costco Cash Card for that fee via mail in rebate

I wonder if Samsung has live chat I can speak to. When I get on my laptop I’m going to try and get this answered. I’m not waiting either. I would rather bypass the chaos of Black Friday

I'd love some clarification on the $400 off deal as well. I'm looking at picking up a note in the next few days and was planning on doing the BB $300 off deal but if I can save an additional $100 why not? Anyone know if the terms are the same for both deals? I can't add another line and I definitely don't want to get roped into bill credits.
