Probably a dumb question but I have full Toro userbug jroo3l is there a better one then that like a more official one

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Android Central Forums

I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus and I've used Bugless Beast. It's pretty much bone stock and I didn't have a single problem with it (i used it for about a month). I recommend it for stock Jellybean. (this was the first ROM I ever flashed)

I'm on AOKP JB build 1 now and it has many customization options, runs very smooth and has settings like CPU speed, themes, and such. Very cool. The only issue I've had with AOKP is that I don't see my instant upload pic folder in my gallery. I'm not even sure if this is a bug or not, but it's not a problem because I still see my instant uploads through my G+ app. I've been using this one for a couple of weeks now.

Both are solid and very stable ROMs. Hope this helps

I'm not saying it's a dumb question because seeking information is great. Sure the question is subjective, but you'll still get a lot of good feedback.

What's dumb is that you could have typed the words "best JB ROM" and a ton of information would be at your finger tips. This topic comes up a lot.

Not a ROM issue, a gapps issue. Flash these instead, please.

Do I need to do a complete wipe to flash new GApps? Or can i just flash over what I've got?

No. To flash a new GAPPs package, you should be able to do this:

  1. Wipe cache/dalvik and system ("format system" under mounts/storage in recovery)
  2. Flash the ROM's zip again
  3. Flash the new GAPPs package
  4. Reboot

I used the Gapps on aokp.co I guess those aren't that right ones? Try the ones oxymoron linked.

I actually used those yesterday and so far so good. I started getting a bunch of sync issues and wanted to experiment on my own :).
