Best kernel to use with CM7

So i recently downgraded to zvd to run CM7. I was wondering what kernel would the best to run with it? Also what settings should run in CM7 to guarantee the best battery life possible

stick with the kernel that comes with cm7.
i run the ondemand governor at 787/245, with no screen off profile, my battery life will last maybe 6-8 hours during continuous internet use and well over 48 hours when on standby.
also, google maps likes to consume a lot of battery, so i got rid of it.

I always ran stock kernal, interactivex governor, 320/748 min/max. Even sketchy signal with moderate use, I could ALWAYS make it a full day, two days if I was careful. At home with wifi on I could nearly get 5 days. Just remember wifi on at all possible times with wifi set to never sleep.
