Me too. Got one on my S8 and it's fantastic. I don't drop my phones so only need it for the scratch protection, that's it. MNML and the Peel cases are great for that.

I got the only Seidio case that's available until they release others I always buy Seidio.

I am currently sporting the Spigen Neo Hybrid. I like it, but as others have said it is a bit slick. Also bought a Ringke Crystal Fusion, and will give that a spin soon.

I have the Spigen Neo - Hybrid and love it. Great grip and feel and even looks nice in gunmetal.

I called Speck and they couldn't tell me much about their grip case coming except between 2-8 weeks. I explained the phone was already out but little to no info from them was available. Seems they are following the LG model as the order page has said "coming soon" for a few weeks already.

my spigen case for my g6 had a more pronounced lip protecting the screen which made me feel more secure. i'm guessing the curved screen is the reason this one seems less protected. nonetheless, i put a screen protector on it and with the exception of the dust collecting in the gap, i'm happy overall. i'll see what other screen protectors others are using and maybe a better solution will arise.

I love the Tough Armor case from Spigen. it's really not a ton of bulk, at least not the OtterBox extent and has surved me well on other phones..I'm hoping to get on for this phone as well

Question about the V30 cases for those that have them. Do they, the cases, have the "recessed" lip along the 2 sides ala the S8? Thanks.

Yes...the top and bottom lip sit slightly higher.

Yes. My Spigen liquid has recessed sides. Seems even with screen and just a smidge raised from the curved edge.
