Hi all,

I searched around the forums a bit and couldn't really find a thread dedicated to this. So...

What is everyone using for lock screens apart from the stock lock screen?

I'm really looking for one that's non-glitchy and shows calendar events and the important notifications (emails, calls, messages...)

Thanks :D

I've always used DashClock .... you actually just reminded me to install it

I've only read little bits about DashClock. How does it work with Marshmallow's existing system of showing you notifications on the lock screen? Do you turn off Marshmallow's and let DashClock take over?

Frankly, I'm such a novice when it comes to DashClock, I can't even figure out which app in the Play Store is the core app? Can you post a link to it?

Thanks!

Yea I used dash clock before too but I wanted to see if there were any good alternatives since I wanna try something new with this new phone :P

I might end up going back to it but i heard ZUI locker isn't bad. I don't really care about pictures though, just the functionality.

PaulQ - dash clock will take care of it when you install it
the core app is the one that does NOT include an extension

I can't share much info about DC as it relates to 6.0 as I've yet to install it but you can check it out here:

Lock Screen widgets haven't worked since Lollipop and certainly not on Marshmallow, so I don't see how DashClock or any other such app could possibly work on the 6P.

I think I also read someplace that add-on lockscreen apps will cause the fingerprint unlock to take you to a PIN screen.

Wait, maybe that was an app to quickly initiate screen lock...
