I've been using a Sandisk Ultra 32gb in my phone since early Feb. I just switched it out for a Sandisk Ultra Plus 64gb just recently. In fact, all I ever use is Sandisk in all my electronics because this is what Costco sells. So far, no troubles with any cards in any of my phones, or other devices for years. I don't really care for Sony "on principal" because long ago they prioritized their memory with their memory stick. You couldn't use any other manufacture's memory because none would fit. Sony lost a customer back then, and I'll never buy Sony products ever again!

I used the same 16gb Sandisk Micro Usb for my past three phones. Never had a problem. I just had to get a new one, because I'm almost out of room on it. I got a Samsung Pro 32gb and it's working no problems. Got a good price at Best Buy. I heard the same thing about other brand SD cards with the Samsung, but as I said, used my sandisk with my Note 2/3/and 4 with no problems.
