Best Messaging App?

I have tried Handcent and Go SMS briefly, settings are awkward to customize.
HTC One stock is OK but very little options to customize bubbles/background.

Using Textra and seems smoother. Emoji works well here too.

What works for you all?
One over the other?

Enjoying Hello at the moment. It's a nice app, and the only one that got me to leave Textra.

I use handcent because you can set individual sounds, and it does emojis.

I've just recently switched over to Evolve, and so far I've really enjoyed it. I used to use Handcent all the time, but at some point it became very difficult to pull in Facebook contact photos. Evolve does this very easily.

Textra has been my favorite. Very good on battery with 4.4.2

I just deleted Textra and am using Chomp for the next few hours. Any difference in battery in either? Both are simple and clean.

My vote goes to Textra after messing around with SMS apps over the weekend. Simple, clean, emoji's work to iPhone, group messaging works, attachments work. I use the KK keyboard and could not be happier!
