Best Messenger App for Android?

If you can use it RCS on Messages is available in the UK and France and limited in the US. Here is a video on YouTube https://youtu.be/O94EawSpduI

I have tried it out with my daughter and this could be our transition from Hangouts after all.

I personally use Google Messenger. When RCS does work it works very well but only works with Google phones unfortunately. Until RCS is more vitally spread through carrier adoption and straight from Google. As far as straight I am in, usually people use WhatsApp.

In my view the right way to go about choosing a text app is to first see what app the majority of your nearest and dearest are using and then choose that. After all, the whole point is to be able to keep in touch with people instantly. You could choose the "bestest" most secure app but if not many you know are using it what good will it do you?

Depends on your social circle. If your contacts mainly use the WhatsApp, the choice is obvious. The Telegram's not bad either.

For sms, Google Messages. When RCS come next year, it will be even better. For other than sms, mostly the same. All depends on your user group.

I primarily us Google messenger. Both for RCS and just regular SMS messaging.

I miss Allo.
You know, every now and then I miss allo. However, barely anyone used it like RCS Google messenger is very good. And with the new Google rollout of RCS hopefully I'll get better. Like I said, Apple has to get on board with the iPhones with RCS rollout. If that doesn't happen it's almost worthless unfortunately.
