Share (in your opinion) your best Moto Mod selections with us! Why do you feel your pick is the best? Where did you buy it and how much did you pay?

Sound off, can't wait to hear what you have to say!

What a coincidence. I just got a Moto Z with the speaker mod.

To be frank, if you're going with the regular Z, always pick the Incipio mod. You'll appreciate it a ton since the regular Z's battery life is pretty darn lean. Also, the speaker mod is dope.

Projector mod is pricey as heck and it's hard to see value in it unless you need one. Stay away from the Hasselblad mod.

I'd say start with the Z Force first, though. But that applies if you're a Verizon customer.

Also consider before your purchase that the cost of the Z plus battery mod is almost the cost of the Z Force, so if you're on Verizon, just consider getting the Z Force. Of course, some people prefer the extra thinness of the Z, or prefer the glass screen, so they prefer the regular Z. Or if you're not on Verizon, then the Force isn't really an option (though it is unlocked and can be made to work on other carriers, if they use supported bands.)

Part of me really wants the battery mod (w/Qi), but it's hard to justify because my Z Force has no trouble getting through a day, so I don't need it for regular use. I do expect I'll need to charge my phone partway through a day when I travel this Christmas, but I already have a 10k mah battery. It's not nearly as nice to use as the battery mod would be, but it's already paid for. If I see a killer deal on the mod, though, I'll almost surely snatch it up.

I have the battery mod, and I find I don't use it much. It does give much better sound, and the phone is still surprisingly comfortable to hold. The kickstand is really nice too. Thing is, though the sound is much better, it's still not great, and most of the time when I want to listen to music, I have a full blown stereo in my car or home that I can connect to and have truly good sound. So most of my use of the speaker mod has been showing off the speaker mod. lol

With my Z Force Droid, I have the Incipio battery mod and the JBL speaker mod. I'm really hoping that the reviews of the Hasselblad camera mod will improve.

I don't think the reviews will improve. If you really are focused on the optical zoom it could be useful, but not at that price for me.

With the Camera mod my hopes would be two-fold. The optical zoom for one, and the dedicated shutter button. The smartphone cameras have to "think" too long before the shutter engages, especially with action shots. I'm hoping that the dedicated shutter button on the mod is as responsive as a normal point-and-shoot camera. Time will tell, as I haven't had a chance to test that feature.

Old thread, but recently upgraded my Z (2016) to a Z3 Play.

So far, I've been loving the Hasselblad. I couldn't use it on the Z due to the battery, but on the Z3P it's been great taking shots of the kids (my trick is to use the screen for framing and watch the action with the shutter half pressed, there's a bit of display lag).

Gamepad. Daughter and I play either the Ducktales remaster or Emulators (Zelda OOT, Mario Kart, etc) on the weekend.

Instashare. Wife and I will watch Netflix from bed (no tv in our room).
