Hi all,

I'm going to Italy and France in a few weeks and will be mostly using public transportation and walking other than a few days in Italy when we'll be driving through tuscany. What would be the best offline nav program to use for these scenarios? Something that has great italy/france maps and great public transport/walking directions. Needs to display nicely on the Nexus 7 as well. I read that NavFree is good, but I wanted to see what you guys thought.

Thanks!

You may want to look at Co-Pilot Live, which has maps for many parts of the world including France. I cannot compare it to any other, but I know that it works well here in the US and all the maps are loaded onto your device.

CoPilot Live Map Coverage

(This is only my second post on this forum and in both I am referring people to Co-Pilot Live. I promise I have no connection to this company, or any other for that matter; I'm retired.)

I agree with sptrout, and recommend CoPilot as well. I use it all the time, and find it very accurate, and great that you don't need a data connection.....Not to sure how good it works internationally, but in the USA, it's been perfect for me.

Hi I am new to Nexus forum, and do not know my way around the UK... but have found in the past few weeks that Co-pilot live works very well. We purchased a windshield mount from Amazon "Archos 7 70 Dell Streak HTC Flyer Samsung Galaxy Tab Blackberry Playbook, Asus Google Nexus 7 Arkon Windscreen Car cradle" and a charger and go everywhere with Co-pilot...No complaints
