Best optimus v ROMS.

I have a optimus v (vortex) for virgin mobile.. what I would like to know what are the best roms, you guys would recommend I use. I've tested plenty, and I change alot! Because there are some talent people out there we call developers, and I greatly appreciate them. So I want you to tell me which rom is your favorite! Btw it's for optimus v! And I'd love if you put links so I can download these roms. But you don't have to.

Currently I would recommend an iho rom. Try em all and pick which you like best

I run quattrimus, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but nerds who want 4.0 and don't care about brokenness.

You could try mine. The magpie one has apps2ext built in to the rom so you can simply move apps to SD or ext with one little button. No more running out of storage for apps

In terms of best stability and simplicity I would say -> Harmonia 2

In terms of stability and customization -> IHO Cyanogen Mod 7.1

I've personally never tried MIUI because it does not work on the latest Optimus V.

I'm 99.9% positive it works on the newest one. CuriousNoob's phone is working with it and his is the new one..

Tried it multiple times, boot time is either 30 minutes long or it does not work, complete wipe and fresh ROM install each time, it's not working currently for me, I've also seen multiple complaints pertaining to the same issues I've been having.

Try booting without your sd card in.

yeah essentially its the same but the point remains valid, both are pretty stable. harmonia is simplistic or lighter when compared to backside and backside is a bit more customizable out of the box

Actually tried that as well, seems to not work, so I chose to stick with Harmonia 2.

I think if you put an official Optimus Vortex decal on your phone it would probably nitro boost your phone.

Jk, the best ROMs depend on what you want, really: stable with bloat removed? Harmonia. Lots of customization and features? Backside. Port of Gingerbread? CM7 ROMs

Holy moly, could we get some more of these threads? I think its been stated before, but I'll say it again: Its all a matter of opinion. Different ROMs have different features to suit different people. There have been SO many similar threads to this, and they all end up turning into wars... And it's all fun and games until someone gets banned.
