best place to sell Nexus 4 if can't sell on marketplace

Hey guys,

I just got 3 Nexus 5s in yesterday and would like to sell my Nexus 4 that I have had since April. Evidently I don't qualify for enough posts to sell here on Marketplace.

I do have an ebay account but wanted to know what you would suggest as other good sites to sell the Nexus 4 other than ebay?

someone mentioned Swappa but I have no experience with them.

Any idea would be appreciated.

I've had good luck selling used phones on eBay. Often the sale price is even higher than I expected. I've had problems though with buyers with 0 or low feedback bidding, but not paying. Other than that happening a couple times it's gone very well for me. When someone no-shows after the sale, eBay allows you to relist free, and the AWOL buyer's account is marked as a non payer. You're not out anything except killing a week or two.

Swappa is a good choice. They have good reputation and even an available ESN / IMEI checker so buyers can see if a device is blacklisted by carrier.

I second swappa. Also since it is an unlocked phone you can also sell on amazon

eBay. Lots of people will see it and if people compete for bid you'll end up with more money than you planned.

I've had a lot of luck selling on craigslist. You don't get as much as you do on ebay, but you don't have to pay ebay fees or paypal fees, so the actual difference in price in the end isn't that big.

after a little back and forth I did list the phone on Swappa. There are a ton of them on there so I am not extremely hopeful but we will see. Looks like a number of folks trying to make some money on new Nexus 5- bunch of them on there as well

I just used Swappa for the First time to Sell my Nexus 7! Basically its 10 dollar fee to sell anything so If you put a price of 250, youll get 240...
and basically require you to take some photos of the product with a specific code to verify it... its pretty fast and easy to understand. You sell. Then buy. Money goes to your paypal. You ship. Product goes to them.

I always sell on craigslist. It is kind of sketchy but just be safe and mindful of who is interested in buying your phone.
