Best ROM for GNex?

Codename is nice i ben using it. Its nice and fast only issue i had is the Verizon My Data app will not work at all.

Fav for me is the new AOKP build 17. I think codename just crammed too much stuff. AOKP just feels right.

My favorite so far has been aokp running either faux kernel or imoseyon, though I've found imoseyon gives me the best battery life/speed balance

What do you have your kernel settings at for the Imoseyon?

I run the experimental version stock UV and 180 min 1200 Max saw no benefit using 1350 for daily use

I'm just wondering what you think is too much in Codename? I'm just interested because I love how much is included. Just shows how great this big development community is and how much we all appreciate them because what one person thinks is good amount of features others think is too many features.

If you want to get the latest version of Codename the "dev" frequents a certain wiki website about root.

Ok, here are my thoughts. While I am sure 4.0.2 can use some improvements, and we have 4.0.3 roms, these ROMs seem to be pretty damn good. When I was on the Thunderbolt, all the ROMs had deficiencies, so I actually hoped for nightlies, thinking that things would get better. On the GNex, I am actuallly annoyed by nightlies, because everything seems to work, and these ROMs all state there are minimal to no bugs, and if that is the case, then why are there nightlies? Each night they seem to fix something that was broken. I want a ROM that is updated as needed, but don't need to flash each day. Unfortunately, I am running Axiom 2.4, and I only say that as it no longer has support. But, I read all the posts in the other ROMs, and there are lots of issues, and there are daily fixes. So why change? That is why I haven't. This is in no way any knock on all the talented Devs in this forum, it's just so frustrating to keep up.

I moved to Codename tonight from Axiom 2.4 with Franko's #10. I am running Franko's #12 now. I like the tweaks CND has so far but my battery was awesome on 2.4 with Franko #10. I will revert back if this does not do the same. I was having a few apps that were not working correctly but I am not sure if it was the kernel or the rom. I made a backup just in case ;)

CATCH 22
Which one GummyNex or ASOP for a CDMA GN, which one and why, and does everything work in the ROM you prefer, like tethering via wireless or usb, NFC feature, and no drops in data, or should one just stick with stock due to the auto updates from Google

Rooted and on stock

Up until today I was running Axiom 2.4. I flashed Tranquil Ice v6.0 (from P3). So far it seems pretty solid. I will need to shake it out over the next few days, but it looks like its got some really nice features and includes a Toolbox and Options.

So far it seems as smooth and maybe even a little crisper than Axiom. I really like the Atari type boot sequence.

AOKP b17 with Franco kernel.

All these ROMs are AOSP with small additions from every where.

I've been flashing Romans nightlies and team EOS for Xoom; if you think its hard keeping up with one try two!

Same for me and I am loving T-ice so far. Still want to try others, but it may be hard to drag me away from this one.

GummyNex 056. Working real fine. Battery life is good. Easy ten hours for me with moderate use. Be sure to wipe if you go to this Rom.

Tranquilice v6.0h and with light (to me) use, I can get almost 20 hrs with the ext batt.
Really heavy use, I get about 12 hrs. real smooth, fast rom, everything works for me, haven't had any issues
The google search bar has been removed and you can now use that space to put more apps / widgets on your homescreens, home screens rotate, lots a little things.
Not sure what some of the others do as I have only used codename and axiom and now on t-ice.
