Hey guy trying to figure out the best 3.0 sense rom/radio setup out there. Right now I'm running Gingeritis 3D v1.1 with Baseband version 1.48.00.0906w_1,0.01.78.0906w_2

I love this rom features but I know there are much better out there, can you guys tell me what you guys are running and what you guys think is the best rom/radio combo out there. I'm looking for something new fun and fast hahaha and ofcourse no netflix lag.. :(.wow that's a killer and it can be sense 3.0 or 3.5.

Thanks in advance guys!

Hands down, the smoothest 3.0 rom with the best battery life is the new Sense 3.0 MR4 leak. There is a modded version of it in this forum and a fairly stock version in the Rootzwiki forum. Another benefit is that it was designed specifically for the Bolt, as opposed to being ported from other devices like every other Sense 3.x rom out there.

This.

I'm using it with the 2.11.605.9 radios.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are the numbers on the 605.9 radios? I've lost track of them.

On the OP. I'm switching back to the MR4 leak right now. I tried BAMF 1.11 for a day, and while I like a few features it has, it is just not as smooth as the leaked MR4. It only has that odd time zone thing on a reboot.

I have been running INFECTED ETERNITY ROM and I like it. I have ran most of the ROMS for the TBolt and so far, my current one and all the BAMF's are the best...stable. Gingeritis is also an awesome ROM too.

Do you think you could link to the exact thread, or download link for this? Thanks.

Also what radio is recommended for this ROM?

Imoseyon has a new kernel fixing the speed issues over at rootz wiki.

Thanks, I actually found it and flashed it yesterday. It's by far the best I've had so far. My phone has never been so fast and stable. Just need some themes and its perfect.

with 3g speeds! Go grab the new imseyon kernel. :)

I am a total Root noob, looking for a good (and easy) rooting combo. Basically I am thinking of rooting so I can get tethering, etc. Advice?

G3d 1.2 out of the box is probably what you want for a first time flasher.

It has wireless tether pre installed and doesn't require a new kernel like band forever.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will check it out.

I prefer AOSP roms. Thundershed works great for me, but I forego the Go Launcher included with it for ADW Launcher which uses way less resources. I picked Thundershed over Liquid Smooth because it seems like the Thundershed will continue to improve, and the Liquid's seem to have moved on to other phones.
I installed the .9 radios and didn't notice much of a difference.

edit: I forgot to mention that the in call volume is wayyyy better in the Thundershed than the Liquid Smooth. I was having difficulty hearing people on LS.

Running this now, and it seems rock solid so far. Very easy to install. Nice with the beats audio.

Fast ROM yes... but I'm getting only 1MB download speeds and I live in Washington DC! I was getting 10+ before. Waste of time unless they fix that.
