Hi, I bought a new Galaxy S8 with a otter box and screen protector, the salesman put it on and handed it to me... I said my phone isn't responding....he said but your screen won't crack.. I said my screen won't crack until I throw my phone. So I took screen protector off. 3 days later I cracked my phone screen. Now I got another galaxy S8 and I put screen protector back on. It is driving ME CRAZY!! I don't see glove mode or sensitivity setting anywhere in phone. Ugh so frustrating! Does anyone know how to adjust screen sensitivity? If not what about a better screen protector that actually works?

Thank you
Hopefully someone can help me with this

There are extensive threads here about screen protectors. Take a look through those as there are very good ones that work great with cases. There is no adjustment for screen sensitivity with the S8, but you won't need it with the correct protector.

I had a Zagg Invisashield (spelling) installed on my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. I used to swear by this screen protector but since I started using it on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and now the 8+, they have been failing me. I have an Otterbox Commuter case on mine plus the Zagg. Well, long story short, I knocked my phone off the bed, bounced off the night stand on to the floor (carpet). When the phone hit the night stand, it hit the edge of the phone and of course, the Zagg shattered. The rest of the phone is fine but when I called Zagg for the replacement, they were going to send the replacement and charge me $9 for shipping. After having a brief discussion about my previous experiences, they waived the shipping. I am no longer happy with Zagg products. My phone just fell from the bed, to the night stand, to the carpeted floor and the protector still cracked badly. I can't even imagine if I had dropped it while stand up on the concrete. IMHO, Zagg isn't worth the hefty price anymore.

IQ Shield Liquid - ultra slick, almost feels like glass. (I have the case friendly version)

So the screen protector shattered and saved your screen but you aren't happy with it? I'm confused. Isn't that what is supposed to happen?

Got this from pelican free with case purchase. It has a lifetime warranty. My s8 should be here any minute now. Come on FedEx.

Update
This screen protector sucked, I hate to say it but it really is bad. It only sticks around the edge, maybe a mm or 2. And it is a lot less responsive. I took it off and will not be using it.

Before, ZAGG used to be like a film, not glass. If my phone fell from such a short distance and already shattered, I can't imagine when I drop it from a higher distance. Not only that, ZAGG will offer a free replacement but a steep $9 shipping charge. No, I am not happy with the ZAGG product. My phones lasted longer with "film" they used to use.

I have the case-friendly ArmorSuit and it works really well for me. I think I have had it on for about 2 weeks now and it has stayed put. Best screen protector I have ever had on a curved display. Previously, when I had the S7 Edge, no matter which screen protector I have tried, the protector itself would scratch within hours of application and that would bug the hell out of me, so I rocked my S7 Edge without a screen protector. Someone on this forum recommended the ArmorSuit and I decided to give it a try and it worked out well for me! So far so good and I would recommend it.

You have an Amazon link to the one your are talking about?

Thank for the recommendation! I just ordered the ArmorSuit Tempered Glass Screen Protector for $20.95 but there is a 30% off code on their site so it brought it down to $14.67 with free shipping. Should be here in a couple of days.

30% coupon code GLSA30OFF

Does the protector intrude past the edge of the screen? The one I got from pelican did. Like it was a mm or 2 to long.

No it actually is cut precisely where it leaves just enough room for a case to go one without any lifting. The protector doesn't touch the frame of the phone and it definitely doesn't go over the edges of the screen.

I put the Armorsuit on the day I got the phone (April 19th) and it's on there pretty good. No corners or sides coming up at all.
