I am replacing my recently purchased 6 month Google watch 2 with another. The Gorilla glass has too many scratches, really bother me. I am really disappointed how easily the Gorilla face scratches.

I won't make the same mistake again and will be installing a screen protector on the new watch.

Recommendation on the web are all over the place, no agreement on what is best.

I want to never have scratches, yet I want the display to be responsive to touch and selection, and viewing.

Some of these protector have glass cases over the watch. It seem that will stop scrolling on the face for selections.

Looking for the best screen protector for the watch.

Comments?????

Really curious how you scratched it up so badly in only 6 months? I work with concrete and have zero scratches.

For what it is worth, the best screen protector for my original Pixel Watch has been using a Spigen Rugged Armor Pro case. Almost a year in and not a single scratch, no responsiveness issues, etc. and it has saved me more than once. I tried a couple of screen protectors before using the Spigen case and hated them - frankly, they were crap.

I play a lot of golf, other than that nothing to damage or scratch the face. It does have some fairly deep scratches.

It looks so bulky and ugly. It seems to take away from the looks of the Google watch.
It has a large profile, but it looks like it offers industrial protection.

Hey, it ain't pretty, but it does the job. 😉 Actually, the original Pixel Watch was a little on the diminutive side for my personal preference and I appreciated a little extra bulk along with the extra protection, but I hear you. It's a shame that we have to cover up our beautiful Pixel phones and watches with cases in order to protect them from damage. It would be nice if more of the case makers were more into designing cases that enhanced the look of phones/watches rather than detracted from them. Or here's a novel idea, wouldn't it be great if Google (or any other brand) made an attractive and durable phone and/or watch that didn't need a case or screen protector?
