Since I didn't qualify for the free S2 I am contemplating buying a watch. Any recommendations? I am not sure I need verizon 3G or not so I'm considering both. Does anyone feel the 3G S2 is too thick/heavy? What about the rubber band? Should I get a classic? It felt nice on my wrist in the BB store. Samsung.com has $50 off (obviously not verizon version). Verizon has $50 off moto 360. I don't want anything too big like I'm wearing a brick. I'm primarily interesting in getting basic notifications and just goofing around I guess.

wait a little and see what Xiaomi comes out with. Usually their products are awesome and dirt cheap compared with the competition

+1 for the Huawei watch.

I have the Classic through T-Mobile. Feels fine and not at all bulky with leather band.

I have the S2 3g and I love it, not heavy and looks great and lasts a day and a half before needing to charge.

I just got the Moto 360 2nd gen 42 mm black leather. It is $50 off at verizon this month and I thought I'd give AW a chance. It was acting weird during setup with what seemed to be the connection going up and down but after I finally got it to upgrade to 6.0.1 it has so far seemed more stable. Notifications come through fine. I'm going to let it sit at home today doing nothing, but in always on mode and I'll see how much battery it burned through after 12 hours. I need to hunt for a screen protector before I'll wear it out. When I say ok google when it is on my wrist I need to move the watch pretty close to my face. I don't know it matters too much since I need to be able to read the small print for whatever it does anyhow. I am so far not thrilled with digital watch faces I've found but maybe I just have to hunt more. I am also going to hope the android wear, moto connect (if I really need it), and bluetooth always on isn't going to suck my S7 battery much. The watch seems fine and comfortable to wear initially. I might want a non-leather band that I don't have to worry about getting wet.
