Best stock OS for Pixel 4a?

Hi guys, I'm wondering if I should update my Pixel's android version. I didn't upgrade to 12, and now I can see that 13 has recently been released, so I'm revisiting the idea of updating my OS. My reasons for not upgrading:
- I saw nothing wrong with 11.
- Wanted to maintain same functionality as 11 without unnecessary changes/compatibility issues.
- Concerns over effect of upgrade on device performance/battery life.

So I'm interested to know the thoughts of fellow Pixel 4a owners. What version of Android are you on? Did you experience any device slowdown or shorter battery life after upgrading? How much of a security risk is me staying on 11? **Should I upgrade?**

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry for that odd previous reply -- that user has been shown the door.:-\

I would recommend updating. Apart from all of the various additional features that Android 12 and 13 introduced, there are also important security updates as well. I'm not aware of any issues on the Pixel 4a with Android 13.
