As the title reads, I'm looking for the best tablet I can use with my note 3. I also use a MacBook pro as my computer. I've been using an iPad air, and have the opportunity to get full retail value for my iPad to get out of it. Thinking of switching up my tablet experience too. I've been googling ask day, but you can find anything on Google so I'm looking for done real people to get advice from.
Thanks,
Nick

I don't own one but I would think one of the Galaxy Note tablets would give you the best experience, especially if you use the SPen.

Also, how well does using my hotspot on my note 3 work for this tablet. It didn't work very well with my iPad. Should I just add it to my line and have a 4g version?

Personally, I have a galaxy tab s 8.4

I love the amoled display, and portability.

I have no problem with my note 3 ' s mobile hotspot, but if money is not a concern, 4g version would be great.

On the occasion when I feel the need to use a tablet with my N3, it's usually a Nexus 7(2012). The wifi hotspot works well with this combo and the Nexus picks it up every time. Having said that, I also have an old 10" ASUS Transformer tablet too and that works just as well. I'm not on LTE.

I have the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and am using it with the LG G Pad 8.3 which I paid $100 used for. I tether the tablet to the note 3, and it works. If money weren't an issue, I would probably consider the Nvidia which looks excellent.

I have a note 10.1 2014 edition. Excellent to use with the note 3 and it's all syncs as you'd expect

Looks like I'm going to get the Verizon tab s 10.4 tomorrow. I played with it today, but the manager wouldn't let me buy it til tomorrow when it officially goes on sale. I inherited about done of my dead lines on my acct and lore and behold my old netbook context expires tomorrow. I think it's a sign to get a new tablet. Monthly costs will go down $10 a month too!

I use also Note with gear. Samsung's Galaxy Gear was launched with more than 70 apps, but it, require that the Android app be installed on your connected Galaxy smartphone. It may be problem because other cases, apps just aren't available yet.

I pair mine with a note 10.1 2014. Use it for notes at work

Same boat here. The Tablet Tab S 8.4 (or 10" if you prefer bigger size) is a great companion to the my Note 3.

I got used to the Amoled display hence, Tab S is a logical option. :-)

Been reading about the Tab S a lot lately and it looks pretty solid. Thin and light but powerful and great screens. I would say go for it!

+1 for the Note 10.1 (2014). It just seems like a natural extention of the Note 3. I use the S Pen a good bit and wouldn't want to loose the functionality of the pen from one device to the other.

I am surprised that you feel you need an Android Tablet. I owned an Ipad 4th generation as well as a Nexus 7, before I bought my Note 3. Owning a note 3, I now rarely use the Nexus 7, although I still use the Ipad because of some of its unique applications not found on Android. Hold onto the Ipad Air. You might miss it.
