Hi all.... i haven't been following up with roms for the thunderbolt in a while... i am just wondering what is currently the best/stable rom to flash? i am currently using bamf 1.10...

thanks

If you like speed go with Thundershed 1.5

If you need Sense features you're already on the best rom.

Try out infectedrom eternity. It's as stable as they come. Sense 3.5 if your looking for a sense rom.

Infected eternity rom was hands down a beautiful rom....but was way too laggy.

I am using BAMF Forever 1.11. This has been the most stable Sense 3 ROM I have used.

Edit - Also flashed imoseyon 6.2.1 kernel

Stupid question I know but I am lazy, I cannot get the imoseyon 6.2.1 kernel to flash with 1.10 or 1.11 What does it read on the kernel page after you flashed it?

Well.... Even though I said I had it flashed, perhaps that was misguided... When I flashed 1.11, I immediately flashed imoseyon 6.2.1 and assumed it worked. Upon checking my kernel screen (attachment) it appears it did not actually work.

I apparently also need some guidance.

Another silly question, where does one find the Terminal Emulator tool?

I was originally running BAMF (several versions up to 1.11) but it was just too slow (most noticeably when switching from portrait mode where I read a TM to landscape mode where I type the reply). I'm currently running Liquid 3.2 and it's much better - how does ThunderShed stack up?

Just tried the Terminal Emulator and got this response;
pgprep: not found
Guess I have to download the kernel again and try once more.

Some people are having problems with the newest version of terminal emulator. That could be the problem.

BAMF was annoyingly slow for me.
infectedROM Eternity is much better IMHO.

Hmmm.. 1.11 is pretty quick for me. Which kernel were you using? Did you wipe data / cache?

Have you tried thundershed? I never knew how slow bamf 11 it was til I went aosp. Bamf 1.07 was a little faster for me but still turtle speed compared to aosp and i no longer have to oc.

I used imo sense kernel oc to 1.4 (normal). The bamf kernel caused my phone to freeze. I had been on bamf since 1.07 and always did clean installs and set up every app from scratch. Sense on a bolt is just laggy. Nature of the beast.
