I don't believe so ... it'll be some time before you see a discount. is say at least 6 months and even that's no guarantee.

The moto X direct from Motorola, however, has had black Friday deals for its previous 2 iterations. I think it's between the Nexus 5x and Moto X Pure for my wife this year.

What is the size difference? I need something in a protective case that can quickly go in a pocket.

The other thing I have to consider there is no 4g lte coverage up north for tmo . Although I hear it will have the new 700mhz band 12 up there. Would be nice to have my full data up there and not the 30mb roaming data on ATT

The Moto X Pure is about 1/4 inch taller and slightly wider and thicker than the 5x.
