Best twitter app?

OK I really like the official twitter app but every time I try to do a search my phone locks up. First of all. Does that happen to everyone? Secondly, what is s good twitter app to replace it? Is there one without ads?

Try clearing the cache on the twitter app to see if that helps with the freezing.

Well that didn't work. To be more clear. My entire phone doesn't lock up its just the keyboard. Which causes the phone to be pretty much unusable for about a minute or so. Maybe I'll try something other than the stock samsung keyboard. I just really like that the number keys are always at the top.

I was about to say try another keyboard like SwiftKey or something...

I bought swiftkey a long time ago but I never really liked it much. I'm going to use Swype for a bit and maybe try swiftkey again to see if I like it any better now. I haven't used it in about a year.

IMO Tweetings is the best I've found so far. Supports streaming and has a lot of customization options.

It's free now so they'll give you a pack of free skins. It has swype (they call it flow) built in so I'd suggest giving it a try again .

OK I'm giving SwiftKey another shot and so far I really like it. I like my theme and they also have an option to put the numbers at the top.

you should give Talon a try

I tried several twitter apps and think Talon is by far the best

not only it looks very nice, it also has all the bells and whistle you might expect from a good twitter client
