I like powerdirector which also has a free android app but a paid windows software.

Depending what phone you have you may already be able to do what your asking without an app. I used to trim videos on my Samsung phones with no problem.

Adobe Premier is on Android now, I believe it's free even if you don't have an Adobe subscription and it's what I would try if I were looking to edit on my phone instead of a PC.

LOL that App is not compatible with my device: LG G6 WHY?

thanks!

Sorry to revive an old thread but the past weekend i recorded a video on my LG V60.
I started it in portrait mode and quickly went to landscape only to find the whole video is locked to portrait. Lesson learned. START it in landscape next time.
So all i want to do is go from portrait to landscape for the whole video.
Any suggestions.

I use InShot Pro, one time payment rather than a subscription like others out there. very easy to use too. give it a shot it has a demo

Welcome to Android Central! That doesn't show up in the Play Store, so they either renamed it or took it off the Play Store for some reason.

It’s in the Apple Store under that name. I don’t say that that fact is interesting, just that it is a fact.

iMovie is good for video editing, though not many Androids have it. In fact, I think it’s approximately none.

Ah, thanks. I knew the company's name was InShot, but the apps all tend to have descriptive terms at the beginning of their app titles, instead of "InShot."
