Best way to add/increase/forward notification sounds to app that only receives single ping.

[Android Central Question]

I have an alarm system that sends out an alert to oem mobile App.

It USE to have an alarm sound, I guess built in as could not change but was loud & long siren. a year or more back it stopped the siren and just a single ping. I read "to do with google cloud depreciation"
Is there a way to "read" this notification and run another app or make a loud long sound.

I briefly looked at tasker but I think being an S21 & latest OS it seems a lot cannot be done. not sending a apt each re-start,
I can see allowed to read notification settings so I think some hope.

Want to keep it simple so reliable.

I would love for it to read the notification text & e.g. send a push message (so fast) back to the same sending phone with the actual details.
"Alarm in office" & a suitable alarm sound.

A whatsapp group would be great as can set the sound & choose who would get it.

The alarm does call out but would prefer a proper notification also.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps, select that app, then Notifications. There should be a way to customize the notification tone (although some apps annoyingly don't let you).
