Best way to charge Note II?

I'm reading about battery life and how the way you charge your phone can affect it, but there are also a lot of conflicting reports, i.e. "i read so-and-so on batteryuniversity," "no, that site is b.s. i have a degree in physics," "you're dumb i have a masters in electrical engineering," "you guys don't know anything i have a phd in chemistry and my dissertation was specifically on lithium ion batteries," etc.

So what is really the best way to charge this phone? Most of the stuff i'm reading either says to keep it always charged 99% but never 100% and ideally never below 99%, but other stuff says to never charge it until it gets to about 20% and then charge to 100%, use the phone until it's down to 20% again, and so forth.
