Dropbox is always a good option.

You can also use ES Explorer to directly hit your shared folders on your computer.

I just started using airdroid for my N7. Works perfect for moving pics and ebooks. Haven't had to use it for music since my Google music library is big enough.

At least watch a video review of air Droid to see if it's something you could use.
