Best Weather App

Yeah I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times but with no success. I got to the point where I wasn't even using the widget just had it in my notification bar. Still no success.

Bummer. The only other option is probably a master (factory) reset to get things back to a known clean state.

Check out my weather app Arcus . Uses the forecast.io API for up to the minute weather information. Much better short term forecasts than the general "Mostly Cloudy" you'll see elsewhere.

The default widget that came with the Galaxy Note 2 was powered by accuweather. That would work in the beginning but then I notice it wouldn't update my weather despite having the update interval set to one hour. It also didn't update the location either. After noticing that for a few days I decided to take it off my home screen.

AccuWeather has worked perfectly for me since I got the phone in November.

I use beautiful widgets with accuweather.

Ive tried the same thing with BeWeather..doesnt work as well with the N2 as it did the Thunderbolt. On the Tbolt I could use BW clock themes and weather icons with BeWeather but cant do that on my N2 (or I could be doing something wrong)
I have been using The Weather Channel app and widget as it is more accurate for my location than any of the others ive used including the stock widget

Don't like WB Elite like so many. You don't see an extended forecast widget which is an ender for me. Lots of better ones out there IMO. Eye in the Sky, 1Weather, BeWeather all have great streamlined interfaces and fine widgets. eWeather HD is also excellent though I don't understand their geeky wind forecast system.

Which one do you use?

Go Weather EX is what I use because I use the Next Launcher. If I wasn't using something designed for Next I'd choose 1Weather.

HD Widgets. It has options for weather from Accuweather, Weatherbug, and Weather Underground. Tons of options for the widgets too.

I use beautiful widgets. I like all the different options that it gives you. Here is the one I am currently using.

The weather app I rely on is the one from one of my local TV stations, it is simply the best I've seen and you can change the settings to get weather information from anywhere in the US. I'm sure that my local NBC station isn't the only one with a really good weather app, I would check the home page of your local TV stations and see what they may have to offer. I live in the Chattanooga TN area and the app I use is WRCB Radar.

I use the stock widget for weather, but do run beweather for the notification. It is great if any rain storm or whatever is coming alerts come in right away. It is great since I enjoy riding my bike all the time and can get a heads up.

I have gone back to weather bug for now. The other apps I've seen and tried haven't been working the way I wanted them to. I may go back to beweather since I paid for it...

I like Weather Underground because of all the local stations it has. Important here in the mountains.

I have been a big fan of Beautiful Widgets and HD Widgets but someone recently told me about 1Weather, and wow, I am blown away. The widgets have a great combination of information and aesthetics without taking up a ton of home screen room. In addition, the information within the app looks greats, is easy to navigate, and very plentiful.

I'll attempt attaching ascreenshot of their widget I am currently using.

I purchased radarscope for Weather radar. I have not found anything even close as far as quality. Even the weather channel meteorologists use it!
