How convenient of Best Buy to tell me they're "taking longer to fulfill than anticipated" in an email today, and to let me know that they'll conveniently cancel my order if it doesn't show up in another month.
Carriers are like a crapshoot getting 512 N9s to Best Buy. Best Buy kept telling me it would come the first week, but I knew Verizon weren't even fulfilling all 512s for their own orders. Hence I bought the unlocked, since doubted they would get them soon. Worked out, since got over $400 trade for my S8 and getting the free headphones this week. How convenient of Best Buy to tell me they're "taking longer to fulfill than anticipated" in an email today, and to let me know that they'll conveniently cancel my order if it doesn't show up in another month.

I'd be thoroughly excited as well. 5 weeks is one.long.time for something like thisordered a 512 for ATT back on Aug 21 .... on Sept 23 got an email saying ... your order has been delayed ...
Then yesterday (Sept 27) got the service agreement at 9:30am and then around 4pm, the shipping notice ...
today UPS tracking says .... Out for Delivery !!!!
I am excited ... waited 5 weeks ...

When you get your phone, be sure to opt out of the binding-arbitration clause. Then, take them to small-claims court for their refusal to honor their offer. They cannot delay many weeks past their "guaranteed" delivery date, and then use their delay as an excuse to deny you the promotional offer.Been waiting almost 2 months for the 512GB. Talked to Samsung through the online chat and their telling me no head phones since the registration date has passed and I didn't register.
You need the phone to register. So.. No phone. No headphones. They have the 512 in stock at Verizon. Horrible customer service. Wanted to just pick up the one they have in stock at Verizon and use my original pre order email to get the headphones. But they are telling me not even my original pre order is eligible.
If you ordered an unlocked device, 100% agree. If a carrier device, BB nor any other selling agent have any control on when they ship. Only the carrier does.Given Samsung's announcement of an exclusive new color dropping on Friday of next week despite not being able to create enough Blue 512's to fulfill preorders (including my own, which I'm still waiting on with no signs it will be fulfilled before next week), I'm cancelling my Best Buy preorder tonight and probably sticking with iphone. I'm sure the Note 9 is a great phone, but both Samsung and Best Buy have convinced me they are not worth doing business with over this.
